How MIUI 14 is different from other android ?
MIUI 14 is Xiaomi’s custom user interface (UI) based on the Android operating system. It is designed to provide a unique user experience and additional features that differentiate it from the stock Android experience and other Android-based custom UIs offered by different manufacturers.
Here are some key differences that set MIUI 14 apart from other Android versions:
Customization: MIUI offers a high level of customization, allowing users to change themes, icons, wallpapers, and other visual elements to personalize their device’s appearance.
Feature-rich: MIUI comes with several additional features and functionalities that are not present in stock Android, such as advanced screenshot tools, built-in screen recording, a comprehensive security app, and various system optimizations.
Gestures and Navigation: MIUI often introduces its own navigation gestures and methods, which might differ from the standard Android navigation buttons or gestures.
App Drawer: MIUI traditionally lacked an app drawer, and instead, all apps were placed on the home screen(s). However, in newer versions like MIUI 14, Xiaomi introduced an optional app drawer, giving users the choice to organize apps differently.
Regular Updates: Xiaomi provides regular updates to MIUI, introducing new features and improvements over time. This keeps the interface fresh and up to date with the latest trends.
Pre-installed Apps: MIUI comes with several pre-installed apps that might be specific to Xiaomi devices. Some users appreciate these apps, while others may find them redundant or unnecessary.
Gestures and Animations: MIUI is known for its smooth and fluid animations, which enhance the user experience and give the interface a polished feel.
Battery Optimization: MIUI often includes advanced battery-saving features and optimization techniques to prolong battery life on Xiaomi devices.
It’s essential to note that different Android custom UIs, like Samsung’s One UI or OnePlus’s OxygenOS, also offer unique features and experiences tailored to their respective devices and user bases. The choice between MIUI and other Android versions often comes down to personal preferences and the specific features that users prioritize.
