The news of Dean Ambrose leaving WWE left the fans stunned and surprised as he had made his comeback to WWE after six months and was holding the Intercontinental title just a couple of weeks ago. The decision to move away from WWE, asking for release after the Royal Rumble, hence has left many astonished. WWE took no time to confirm the news and just a day after Raw, the company confirmed that Ambrose will not be part of WWE once his contract expires in the month of April.
Ambrose’s exit can also have a big impact on Renee Young, his wife, who is a commentator on Raw. It is not yet clear whether Young would remain in WWE after Ambrose moves away from but from her latest social media post, it looks like she might follow her husband. Just after WWE officially announced that Ambrose will leave the company in April, Young took to Instagram and posted a photo of Ambrose with a caption that says it all. “This guy. The world is yours, my love. no guts no glory,” she wrote on Instagram.
Young was inducted into the commentary panel in September 2018. At first, she only commentated on one Raw episode in August and later, WWE confirmed that she would be commenting on the Raw brand on a permanent basis. (Also Read: Dean Ambrose set to leave WWE soon, company confirms)
Her addition to the panel was probably due to the fact that WWE gave a big push to women’s division in 2018, where it organised a Women’s Royal Rumble and also a separate pay-per-view event in the form of WWE Evolution.
While Ambrose’s participation in the in-ring matches might go down now, Young is expected to be seen doing commentary till April. The future of Young in WWE will be clear once Ambrose performs in his last in-ring match in April.
